He’s long expressed his love of the British landscape, and now Lawrence Coulson has illustrated this by raising an incredible £550 from the auction of his artwork, ‘Everlasting’.
The painter donated the hand-signed giclée on paper to Martineau Gardens, a charity which runs two-and-a-half acres of woodland and community gardens in Birmingham. Funds will go towards the maintenance of the therapeutic garden, which is a SINC (Site of Importance for Nature Conservation). The organically managed landscape boasts a wildflower meadow, plus shrubs and trees from around the world.
Keep up-to-date with what Lawrence has been up to recently on our blog.
"It was a big hit. We were delighted, and so appreciate the support of all those who have helped us."Sue Roberts
