Romero Britto collaborates with Chiquita

It is time to go bananas this December! Brazilian born pop artist Romero Britto has recently designed a new series of labels to be featured on Chiquita bananas. The limited edition colourful labels will be appearing on 200 million bananas throughout the US and Europe. Beginning in November, the bright colours of Romero's work will be shining bright throughout the festive season.

Romero is renowned for arriving at events in his jazzy pop-art inspired London taxis, however this year he has gone big! A Romero Britto double-decker London bus will be travelling around the bustling city centre grabbing attention with his playful designs. 

Speaking to Fruit Net about his collaboration, Romero states: “I’m so excited to partner with Chiquita, the leading provider of nature’s most delicious and nutritious fruit. This partnership is a perfect match. Not only is my favourite colour yellow, but I take pride knowing my artwork brings happiness to people - just like the iconic Chiquita banana.”
