Augmented reality artists Scarlett Raven and Marc Marot feature in a fascinating report released, exploring the role technology will play in the future of art.
The art duo’s celebrated collection, The Danger Tree, tells an immersive story of the soldiers who fought and fell in the Great War between 1914 and 1918.
Whilst each painting appears conventional at a first glance, technology allows the viewer to unlock the creative journey with their smartphone, stripping away the countless layers of paint and revealing the deeply personal process beneath every piece through poetry, animation and music.
Read Raconteur’s report here to find out more about The Danger Tree and the ways in which technological developments are not only changing how art is being created, but also what art is being created.
These pieces are now sold out, but you can shop Scarlett's collection here.
