Hamish Blakey's passion for popular culture and art history converge here in this unique original that also features a rich colour palette; adding a vibrant yet gentle pop of colour to your room.
Paying homage to the legendary Eartha Kitt and Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the 1960s, this artwork also features the quote "Life's a b*tch and now so am I" in graffiti. Coined by Michelle Pfeiffer in her 1992 interpretation of the infamous Batman villain, this portrayal of the DC universe showcases Hamish's imagining of superhero characters behind closed doors.
What's more, this original artwork lends itself to 'In the tepidarium' by Romanticism painter Lawrence Alma-Tadema. Inspired by the reclining pose of the famous 19th century painting, Hamish has blended the classical composition with a contemporary subject matter in a radical artistic gesture that is typical of his iMasterpieces.

In 1995, we opened our first-ever gallery in Stratford-upon-Avon. With just one goal in mind - to make our art accessible to all - our fledgling company began to spread its roots.
Every piece of art is mounted, glazed or framed by hand, with our bespoke framing service selected by our creative department.
Our foundations are built on a passion for art, and many of our staff (and collectors!) have been with us from the very beginning.
