Creating a nostalgic sense of movement and belonging, in “Feel The Eternal” the artist created a beautiful piece with incredible details. The vibrant colours evoke a sense of grandiosity, bringing different colours together in an intriguing original. Rowan worked meticulously in this hand-painted background that preserves vibrant shades of oil beneath the layers, before piercing through them to add depth and texture. This intricate and atmospheric original created in layers, is an opportunity for collectors to acquire a new type of original work from Richard.
Being at the forefront of his technique, Richard Rowan’s original artworks are detailed with his characteristic photographic realism, illustrating the power of nature. The landscapes are reverse painted in layers on to the glass, which allows him to achieve the microscopic detail and preserve the vibrant colours. On each of Richard's original artworks is a transparent viewing panel to allow collectors to see the process behind their creation.

From the Icelandic wilderness to the fiery horizons of Thailand and towering mountains of Norway to spectacular Scotland, his atmospheric scenes allow viewers to escape from everyday life, creating a sense of intrigue in any living space. Richard is the only artist to be creating art in this style, and his incredible landscapes are so detailed that they are often mistaken for photographs, when in fact each one has been meticulously painted by hand using his reverse painting technique.
As the only fine artist successfully creating artworks in this style, Richard has become a part of the history of the glass art form, which dates back to Roman times and can also be seen in the Gothic period. Unlike canvas, glass interacts with the light, bringing his works to sparkling life.
