Collectors of his Star Wars pieces include Harrison Ford, John Travolta, Tom Cruise, and the late Carrie Fisher. Robert’s art uses a method called hatching, whereby his closely-drawn parallel lines imply shade, tone and texture. The distance between the hatching marks determine how light or dark that area appears. Robert says about his art: “Only by practice can the dexterity of fine pencil work be kept up."
