Full of spooky shades of purple, green and blue, this nostalgic hand-painted animation cel of Scooby-Do on a printed background from 2000 reminds us of one of the most loved animated series from Hanna-Barbera Studios.
Frequently cited as "the birthplace of TV animation", Hanna-Barbera Studios was also home to such talented animators and artists as Bob Singer, who worked on some their most iconic productions including: The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, The Jetsons, Tom & Jerry, among others. This limited edition hand-painted cel pays homage to the original animators' techniques where each still would be hand-drawn and painted onto acetate cels and set against separate painted backgrounds to create a snapshot from an entire scene.
Framed in glass and charcoal pine and spruce wood, this remarkable artwork forms part of our second Hanna-Barbera collection which you can shop here.

In 1995, we opened our first-ever gallery in Stratford-upon-Avon. With just one goal in mind - to make our art accessible to all - our fledgling company began to spread its roots.
Every piece of art is mounted, glazed or framed by hand, with our bespoke framing service selected by our creative department.
Our foundations are built on a passion for art, and many of our staff (and collectors!) have been with us from the very beginning.
