Contemporary landscape artist, Paul Corfield paints charming landscapes, fuelled by his imagination and the Dorset landscape. From sunset-soaked hills to seaside cliffs and snow-laden trees, Paul’s beautiful landscapes explore the beauty of nature. His timeless idealist style is reflected on his paintings with the airbrushed appearance, incredibly detailed elements, and the injection of light into every part of a painting.
The new instalment of “Home from Home” has taken elements from two of his different styles - one more focused on rolling landscapes and seascapes and one more focused on hyperrealism compromising portraitures and abstract work - giving a progressive contemporary feel to his work, whilst pushing and developing his technique and style. All the pieces of this collection evoke a sense of familiarity and they remind us of places we’ve been with a dream-like quality.
In “Lavender Sunrise”, the sunrise evokes a sense of stillness and tranquillity with the warming colours as the sun beams arise from the horizon, just allowing us to stop and look at the glorious colours as they unfold from the darkness. A mix of the new and old techniques, the beautifully detailed piece transports us to an idyllic word through the composition of the landscape and the calming hues.
Paul’s paintings are pieces of heavenly perfection, a special place where everyone is welcome. Presented an idealised view of nature, his limited-edition prints, and original oil paintings add a feeling of peace and tranquillity to any living space.
This piece is a Hand Varnished Giclée on Canvas, and it can also be purchased in a set of five alongside the other artwork in this collection.

From sunset-soaked hills to seaside cliffs and snow-laden trees, Paul’s beautiful landscapes explore the beauty of the British countryside. Presented an idealised view of nature, his limited edition prints and original oil paintings add a feeling of peace and tranquility to any living space.
Paul has been with our publisher, Washington Green, since 2005, and his timeless, idealistic style proves to be eternally popular. As you may have guessed from his work, home means everything to Paul, He has lived in Dorset all his life, and he has never lived more than ten miles from his favourite painting location of Middle Beach at Studland near Swanage. “I've probably painted it a hundred times – maybe more!”
In 1995, we opened our first-ever gallery in Stratford-upon-Avon. With just one goal in mind - to make our art accessible to all - our fledgling company began to spread its roots.
Every piece of art is mounted, glazed or framed by hand, with our bespoke framing service selected by our creative department.
Our foundations are built on a passion for art, and many of our staff (and collectors!) have been with us from the very beginning.
