Bringing Birmingham together: Mailbox gallery hosts glamorous event

Our new gallery is fast becoming the place to be in Birmingham’s city centre, as illustrated by the September 2019 event held by Birmingham Sales & Events Forum. Our state-of-the-art space at the luxury Mailbox shopping centre opened its doors to some of the hospitality sector’s brightest talent for a spectacular evening of networking, live music and delicious food.

Launched in August 2018, the business initiative aims to unite like-minded individuals to encourage partnerships and collaborations whilst filling their ‘little black book’. Its latest event featured food by Malmaison and Aunty Banty’s Bakery, along with live music by Elegant Entertainment. And when people weren’t brainstorming, they were taking photographs against the flower selfie wall, sampling the tasty doughnuts and cake pops or enjoying a drink at our specially-designed bar.

Co-founder of the event, Tara Tomes, says: “When I first saw Castle Fine Art in the Mailbox, I couldn’t believe what a stunning space it was – it’s a cool, New York loft style setup that just happens to be in the heart of the city centre. The theme centred around the little details that make an event memorable, so having the gallery as a backdrop really did set the tone.”

"It’s an amazing space that is home to incredible artwork, and somewhere the whole city should celebrate."
