NIC JOLY | LESSONS LEARNT

If you’re looking to make a big impact in a smaller space, Nic Joly is your artist. His latest collection of miniatures, Lessons Learnt, reflects on some hard-hitting yet important motifs such as self-growth, self-assurance and gaining experience through mistake-making. Despite its smaller size, the collection poses a strong reminder over the true values of life and the significance of a sound support system.

‘Love Life (Carpe Diem)’ and ‘Seize The Day (Love Life)’ reflect on the sentiment “you can’t achieve one without the other,” and thus in order to love life we must seize the day; it is a self-perpetuating circle that represents the dualities of life. ‘What You Do (Colour Me Happy)’ speaks of the love we have for those closest to us, focussing on a reassessment of life.

These mini 3D snapshots of life are all made by hand in Nic’s studio and offer a celebration of what it truly means to be human.

DAN LANE | IN THE EMPTY SPACES

Since his last successful release of 3D graffiti originals and graffiti style canvas prints, the “creative floodgates have been opened” for Dan Lane. Not only has he challenged himself as an artist pursuing the juxtaposition of the macabre against the innocence of Disney, but also through the mingling of his two loves: graffiti and sculpture.

ROXY WINTERBURN | TSAVO

Roxy returns with Tsavo, the latest addition to her Circle Of Life series, named after one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya which she visited during childhood. The artist and chemist has a rich personal history with art, science and animal conservation which has moulded her into a beautifully expressive stylised sculptor.

"Being in Africa and seeing the animals in their natural environment was enthralling, something which has stayed with me and inspired this collection.”"
