This extraordinary original artwork captures the sleek architectural design of the Bisaillon Brother's 'Modern Simplicity' Series and transforms it into a functional piece of Fine Art. The flawless resin surface perfectly offsets its colourful geometric holes in a vibrant fusion of contemporary art and furniture. Two metal bars run along the inside of the form, creating a truly unique and sturdy piece that can be enjoyed sculpturally and functionally.
Clean, crisp and modern, the Modern Simplicity series was first released in 2010 by the Bisaillon Brothers and continues to perfectly fuse art and design as they add more colours and variations. Not only do the repeated holes or “lightwells” lend themselves to concepts of minimalist sculpture but, their vibrant colours also deliberately project light onto the surface behind; extending the impact of the artwork onto a new plane.

Influenced by pop and street artists like Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, the duo evoke an exciting commentary on the pop culture of today and the mid-20th century. New technology, iconicism, globalisation and social media are given a modern interpretation through digital art, vibrant colours and bold brushwork.
The brothers have a unique, hands-on approach to creating their art. All of the pieces are mixed media and incorporate a range of mediums, including canvas, wood, paint, pen, resin, spray paint, digital imagery and even building materials.
In 1995, we opened our first-ever gallery in Stratford-upon-Avon. With just one goal in mind - to make our art accessible to all - our fledgling company began to spread its roots.
Every piece of art is mounted, glazed or framed by hand, with our bespoke framing service selected by our creative department.
Our foundations are built on a passion for art, and many of our staff (and collectors!) have been with us from the very beginning.
