This bold mixed media original artwork fuses the popular culture of the 20th century, with the materials and contemporary styles of the 21st Century. Influenced by artists like Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, the Bisaillon Brothers evoke an exciting commentary on new technology, iconicism, globalisation and social media through digital art, vibrant colours and bold brushwork.
Born in upstate New York, the duo grew up in a highly creative home. Their grandfather was a landscape and wildlife painter, with his brother an illustrator for Disney. Whilst at Catholic school, the brothers were encouraged by nuns to work on art projects.
After moving into an empty house with bare walls, Jeffrey and Michael decided to create their own art to hang, sparking a collaboration that has made waves since 2012. Their work has taken them around the world, including a sell-out show in Miami and exhibitions in the Netherlands and Great Britain.

Influenced by pop and street artists like Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, the duo evoke an exciting commentary on the pop culture of today and the mid-20th century. New technology, iconicism, globalisation and social media are given a modern interpretation through digital art, vibrant colours and bold brushwork.
The brothers have a unique, hands-on approach to creating their art. All of the pieces are mixed media and incorporate a range of mediums, including canvas, wood, paint, pen, resin, spray paint, digital imagery and even building materials.

Every piece of art is mounted, glazed or framed by hand, with our bespoke framing service selected by our creative department.
Our foundations are built on a passion for art, and many of our staff (and collectors!) have been with us from the very beginning.
