On creating his metallic cityscapes, Paul wrote: “The reason that I paint onto metal is that it creates another dimension. If I’m painting a New York or London scene and there’s lots of buildings, I use the metal to create another dimension in the windows, doorways and reflections. It just adds another interesting feature and mood to a painting".
Ideal for minimal greyscale, industrial and warm-toned interiors, this monumental painting on aluminium not only captures the electricity of London but, will also reflect the changing light of its surroundings throughout the day.

Paul Kenton is a UK-based contemporary artist, acclaimed for his cityscape paintings which capture the unique energy of cities across the world. Paul’s paintings aim to transport the viewer, giving them a sense of the distinctive mood, pace and light of a scene, through layers of bold colour, dripped lines and gestural paint marks. Kenton is constantly exploring new ideas for paintings in his sketchbook, painting en plein air, drawing not only from cityscapes, but also from his fascination with motorsport, the sea and pop culture.
In 1995, we opened our first-ever gallery in Stratford-upon-Avon. With just one goal in mind - to make our art accessible to all - our fledgling company began to spread its roots.
Every piece of art is mounted, glazed or framed by hand, with our bespoke framing service selected by our creative department.
Our foundations are built on a passion for art, and many of our staff (and collectors!) have been with us from the very beginning.
